What I have learnt from my Preliminarily Task

What I have learnt from my Preliminarily Task

1) To include features of a magazine cover that make it look realistic and genuine such as a barcode, issue number, price, date and masthead

2) The masthead situation should fill the width or the corner of the page to make it bold and stand out so that it is recognised by customers

3) To keep the main image clear by not overriding text to near to the main aspect of the image, so like the face of the model. However some text that can be made clear can be placed over the image in a less noticeable place like across the bottom of the body to incorporate the image and text.

4) To include relevant and smaller images on the front cover that support the magazine content to make it more engaging and interesting for readers.

5) To work within the margins so that it looks professional and neat.

6) To include important or key information on the top left because people read from the top left and down or across.

7) To restrict the use of various colours so that it is not to vibrant and hard to concentrate on reading certain sections as readers will not know where to look first or focus on.

8) To include a pun or puff for interest and engage readers.

9) To include cover lines that vary in font, colour and size to emphasise which ones have been made more dominant and the key articles.
